[/size]No leaders. No deputies. No medicine cats. No Territories. No Warrior Code. No StarClan. No apprentices, warriors, elders. No Clans.
Let me take you to a land where there are no Clans. No cat has ever heard of StarClan. The land belongs to everyone, and yet to no one. There is no structured code. Cats live, love, fight, and die without having ever pledged their loyalty to a Clan. It's every cat for itself, or perhaps every family for itself.
What is there, then? Loners. Kittypets. Twolegs. This is how it has always been, and this is how it will always be. Or will it? Because when four proud cats, different from one another in many ways, hatch an idea, things will change. Their idea? Structured groups. Group that own certain land, and have to protect that land. Groups with leaders, co-leaders, and even cats that can heal. And other cats, whose jobs would be to protect the territory and hunt.
What starts out as a fantasy soon becomes reality as the four cats split up to recruit others to join them. Some love the idea, some hate it, and some are willing to try it out. They must choose their territories and fight for them. And when a group of starry cats appear in the dreams of several cats, they will discover that there is far more to this Clan thing than they could ever imagine.
