Appearance: chandler is without a doubt an attractive girl, though whether this attractiveness translates to her personality is questionable. she possesses the rare and enviable ability to grow her hair at alarmingly fast rates while maintaining it's thickness, so as a result she has never cut her hair more than a few inches at a time. no one is certain of her true hair color, as she opts for dyeing it more and more often these days. her current color is a rich chestnut brown, and she is at the moment content with it. chandler has a nice smile, one that you would perhaps classify as infectious and is often shared by her peers when she is around. she wore braces for three and a half years and as a result her teeth are perfectly straight. her skin is flawless, a fact that was not true just a year ago before she began a skincare program that has taken care of her troublesome skin. she stands at about five feet four; rather short, compared to some. her build is slim but sturdy. years of soccer, swim team, and horseback riding have built up a wide variety of her muscles. her skin is permanently tanned, mostly because she tans at the drop of a hat and also due to off and on visits to a tanning salon. pale skin on girls is a pet peeve of hers; on guys, it's not really an issue.

General Personality: as mentioned above, chandler's personality is not necessarily as pretty as her face. she has the misfortune of being a compulsive liar and often lies simply for the sake of lying, with no real reason behind it. and while she has grown much better about it, it still is a problem from time to time. chandler can be somewhat materialistic and judgmental, traits she picked up on from her overly self-important parents and grandparents. she is extremely social and enjoys meeting new people, although she has few close friends. another trait that she possesses that many of her acquaintances and peers have come to find almost annoying is her proneness to flirt. whether a boy is taken or not makes little difference to chandler and although her actions may only be innocent flirting, it never fails to anger the girlfriends of these boys. overall, chandler can be a little bit fake, but most of the time she means well.

History: chandler was born and grew up in florida with her parents, donald and eliza. both her parents were extremely wealthy; her mother was a prominent horseowner and trainer who had gained most of her money and status from her own parents. her father was a corporate attorney. their house was a mansion; they owned acres and acres of precious florida land on which they supported their outrageously expensive polo ponies. chandler was subjected to endless luxuries and unnecessary benefits all throughout her childhood. as the first and only grandchild of her maternal set of grandparents, she was doted on and made much of from the time she was born. naturally, she began to develop an air of importance, which only grew with time. during her teenage and high school years, she was able to curb this with some difficulty, if only to make a few friends who weren't guys.

her maternal grandparents were prominent figures in the sport of polo and her mother had grown up competing first in polo, then later had moved on to the hunter/jumper a circuit. it was simply assumed that eventually, when chandler grew up, she would ride as well. she rode her first horse at the age of eighteen months, with her mother holding her in place while she was lead around. she was told that she enjoyed the experience tremendously and had been loathe to get off the back of a horse ever since. when her mother took her off that first pony, she began to cry. as the years progressed, she remained steadfastly fond of riding. when she was twelve, her parents went through a nasty divorce and chandler was sent to live with her aunt dee for a few months until the details could be worked out.

her aunt was her father's sister; he was not born into wealth, as chandler's mother had been, and so dee was not a wealthy woman. she owned one horse and kept it at a small boarding farm near her house (chandler was astonished that she did not keep the horse at her own house). living with dee for those few months changed chandler's perspective on owning horses. she wasn't completely different, but she had gained a better respect for the actual time and work that went into owning a horse. when she went back to live with her mother at the florida ranch, she began to help out with the daily chores, including the feeding and stall cleaning. her mother tried to discourage her but would not forbid her from doing it because she believed that chandler was doing it for attention, acting out because of the divorce. when the final details were worked out, chandler and her mother left the florida house and moved to guineaville, a remote location where her mother was sure that chandler's father would have trouble locating and therefore be less likely to bother the two of them. this was troubling to chandler, as she loved her father, but he did not really possess any custody and she was also somewhat angry with him (the divorce had been settled on the grounds of her father cheating on her mother with the brazilian housemaid) and so she accepted it.
