Megan was loving every minute here. It was an amazing place and she was so lucky to be able to be here. It was so peaceful and open just like back home at her aunts place. Home. It reminded her of home. As much as she missed it it was her time to step out from the shadow of her past. It only took her 3 years to get the balls to leave but she finally did it. Megan brought her prized horse Teq. And it only took about 4 hours to get her into the trailler before they were off on the long trip.
The mare didnt stop after they got her out of the trailer either she was even giving Megan trouble just giving her the feed. But Megan knew that this was expected with Teq. She wasnt fond of being moved from place to place. Megan was taking it easy with her girl and now would be her first ride. I hope that this will cheer her up. Megan was thinking as she lifted the heavy expensive western saddle onto the mares back and just managed to jump out of the way to miss the teeth that snaped at her. "HEY!"Megan growled out smacking the mares snout. "Dont you dare try that with me" she warned the mare. Tequila may of been able to get away with this with the stable hands that had fed her and stuff but not with Megan. Finishing tacking up the bitchy mare Megan led her out side and set up the barrels before tightening the cinch. Again the mare had the nerve to turn her head and snap but Megan was having none of this. "KNOCK IT OFF" she said her hand coming down to smack the mares barrel makeing her move side ways. Teq turned her dapple gray head away and droped it. "Yeah thats what i thought"she chuckled before swinging up into the saddle. Megan could feel the stiffness in her own legs just from not riding for a few weeks. Ew that pissed her off.
After warming up Teq she loped in a circle before sending her off at a gallop towards the first barrel. "go go easy go" she chanted to the mare easily circling the barrel and now heading to the second. Again she moved around it. The mare made it look effortless but as she took off to the third she began to toss her head and pull hard against the bit "Easy easy" she cooned the mare but Teq was having none of that she went fill tilt at the barrel. Her hunches falling under her as she went taking the barrel down but Teq went flying home with wild bucks "EASY" Megan called before she had to dismount the wild bucking mare and she landed on her ass. Groaning Megan stood up and moved to the corner as her mare was letting out her engry. No way was Megan going to be able to stop her. ALONE
