"TIMES SURE AREN'T WHAT THEY USED TO BE." commented Heath Meadowes as he read the latest edition of the Daily Prophet.
"What did the minister do now, darling?" his wife asked patiently. Her husband was always ranting about what idiotic move the minister had pulled lately.
"Not the minister, these... these Death Eaters, or whatever the bloody hell they call themselves," he responded, and took another sip of his tea. His wife continued tending to the breakfast she was currently making, but she made a clear noise of disapproval. "Captured an Unspeakable. Tortured the poor bloke 'til he was nearly mad. "They might as well know what's out there, Bathsheba." he said, though he did not continue what he was previously saying.
"They're going to be at Hogwarts, safe and sound. One more year at least. Call them down now, will you? The eggs and bacon are nearly done." And that was the end of their conversation, but Bathsheba couldn't help looking out of the kitchen window a tad more than usual that day, as if expecting You-Know-Who to appear on her front doorstep. Heaven forbid, that's what she'd say to that.
