full name: jacqueline renee lemaire age: 20 gender: female riding level: advanced appearance: jac has the average girl next door look. she personally doesn’t find anything unique about her, besides the fact that she has a huge scar on her forehead from a riding accident, other than that she’s pretty normal. jacqueline changed her hair more than she changed her underwear, dying it from brunette to blonde whenever she feels like it, cutting it to her shoulder than waiting for it to grow out, deciding in the mean time if she should keep it that way or not. jac is also a very lanky girl, reaching around 5’10” she may not have the best body for riding, but being a dancer she hold her own pretty well. another thing that, well most men see about jac is that she’s pretty much flat chested, not that she cares or anything, less things to hurt when you’re trotting on a horse. she’s also not the girl to put on a lot of makeup, maybe a little coverup, some eyeliner, and a bit of eyeshadow and blush, and that’s about all, typically she doesn’t get real made up. most often jac sports extremely big nerd glasses during the day, sometimes forgetting to take them off, the rest of her wardrobe is pretty normal. she almost usually never wears shorts, its always pants for her. everything else is pretty vintage-chic when it comes to her shirts, how she styles her hair, etc.
general personality: first and foremost, jac is very straight-forward and blunt with people. this can occasionally come off as rude or bitchy, but never intentionally so. jac just hates being lied to and refuses to do the same to other people. she isn’t afraid to hurt someone’s feelings – though that is not the case with her own emotions. jac keeps those close to the chest due to mass amount of trust issues she has gained over the years. there aren’t many that jac trusts. she has to see that they are making a sincere effort to get to know her and that they are actually going to stick around before jac opens up to them. outside her rough edges, jac can seem quite intimidating, being a girl who is covered in tattoos, hanging out with these rough guys, not the most friendly thing. she’s very rambunctious and talkative, always with a constant flock of people around her. jac loves socializing with people – talking, flirting, anything. she can be rather critical of people upon first meeting them. jac is quick to assume about people, which is her main defense mechanism until she gets to know the person she is in contact with.
once someone is able to get around jac’s rough edges, she can be a rather addicting character. she is incredibly charismatic and is very much a people person. jac has unwavering loyalty for those she trusts, to an extent. one wrong move on their part that puts that trust on the line, jac will drop them like a bad habit. the whole idea of commitment is utterly terrifying to jac . she has never seen a stable relationship in her entire life and everyone she got attached to was torn from her. she has a very ‘i-can-breathe-without-you’ attitude when it comes to relationships. thus, jac won’t allow herself to put herself in such a vulnerable state without a fight. many people think that jac is just a heartbreaker. they see how she acts around the opposite sex; she’s very flirtatious and playful, but if she sees that they expect something more, jac pulls herself out of the picture. jac goes along with the whole ‘heartbreaker’ stereotype. she’s much too prideful to admit anything else.
a lot of people turn to jac when they need someone to vent to. she’s a fantastic listener and doesn’t mind people pouring their souls out to her. always in the mix of things, jac is also the one people to go when they want to hear about the latest drama or gossip. however, even jac herself knows that it’s best if she doesn’t give advice to people. she knows it would be stupid when she can’t even figure out what to do for herself half of the time. jac is truly a free-spirit at heart. she’s very rebellious and often reckless. there are times when she has a one-tracked mind and will act before thinking things through. drinking, smoking, sex – she’s done it all and isn’t afraid of it. ask, and she’ll do it again. there isn’t much that stops jac from having a good time, even if it does get her into heaps of trouble. of course, times come when jac sits back and wonders what the hell she is going – there are numerous insecurities in her, but she refuses to dwell on them.
jac biggest passion is art. she is a very creative and intelligent individual with a unique way of thinking. painting and drawing are her absolute favorite pastimes. most of the time you’ll see her sitting on a fence, or laying in the pasture drawing whichever horse she feels like.
history:
jacqueline grew up in an overly-normal household. she doesn’t have a past that really haunts her, or anything traumatic that happened then. she grew up living in a small town in minnesota, one that was mostly run off of farms and crops that people grew around there. with her dad being like everybody else, jac started helping him on the farm at a young ace. every morning when she was around 6 years old, jac would get up at the break of dawn, going to go check on the cows and calves, helping her dad milk a few of them, then going out to the fields and checking on the crops. this went on till she was around fourteen years old, then jacqueline discovered two other things that she could really make into a career; dancing, and horses.
being a middle school student, she found her two pastime hobbies extremely hard to keep up with. she would go to dance practice for a few hours, later riding a horse that her dad has bought her, a ten year old quarter horse gelding, who always seemed to test her and buck her off. all the time she’d go to school complaining that she was sore, then complain even more when she went to dance practice. her routine went on and on though, struggling through the middle of the 8th grade with her school work, staying up until three in the morning trying to finish homework that she should have done, but instead went outside with the horses. jac’s parents didn’t let this slip though, no, instead they watched their young girl grow into an amazing dancer. on request by their daughter, jacqueline had been sent to a performing arts school at the end of her middle school career.
connecticut art school it was fun, she’d give credit to that. all through her high school years, jac was the one in her class that stood out the most, performing on stages almost every month for musicals or something alike. her past time for horses never really stopped though, she found a great riding instructor close to where the dorms were. eventually she persuaded the instructor to give her lessons, though they were for english riding and not western riding like jacqueline had been used to. horses and dancing really never shed off of her, though she picked up a few new things that she found out she was quite good at, such as drawing. jacqueline graduated from her school with some of the top honours in the dancing course, though she still stuck with the whole horses thing through it all.
now, jacqueline somehow found herself in southern illinois, teaching some less-fortunate riders how to ride horse. she still continues with dancing for her past time, though most people think it’s just some random movements she’s making, along with drawing.
