Full Name: Daniel 'Danny' Andrew Merrin Age: 20 Gender: Male Riding Level: Intermediate Appearance:
At 6'2", Danny certainly isn't short. He gets his height from his mum and dad, who were 5'9" and 6'4" respectively. His body is one that he is proud of. To keep himself in top condition, he'll work out several times a week. The black mop of hair that covers his head can be in a variety of styles depending on how he feels when he goes to the barber shop. The most common way that he has his hair is long and hanging down over his forehead. He also has beautiful ice blue eyes which are sometimes mistaken for grey.
Normally he wears simple clothes. Around town, he'll wear a t-shirt and jeans. In the saddle, it'll be a t-shirt and jodhpurs as is the way with English style riders. Not really one for dressing up, but he will if he has too. His idea of dressing up though is just a button up shirt and black trousers. You won't catch him dead in a full suit.
General Personality:
Danny is a pretty nice guy. He's not arrogant like some people are and takes on board criticism well. A simple word to describe him with is 'romantic'. All he wants to do is find someone who he really loves. That person can be a guy or a girl, because yes, he is bi-sexual. He's cautious about doing anything with another guy though as in his home town, that was very much frowned upon and could lose you most of your friends. When Danny gets in a relationship with them, he is totally loyal and won't stray. He doesn't really like it if the other person flirts a bit, but he wouldn't confront them about it. That's because he's not a very confrontational person. Generally, he will do whatever he can to avoid a fight with someone. The only time that he would start a fight is when he is drunk. He's not drunk that often, but when he is drunk it is wise to keep a fist's distance away. What he most enjoys to do is ride his horse Dream, especially over jumps.
History:
Joe was born in south-west Wyoming, in a small rural town. There wasn't much there, just the basics such as a school, the grocery shops and a few other buildings such as the church. This was a town that was still living the life that was lived a few decades ago. Oh yeah, there were the farms too. There were plenty of those around and most families living there owned, or worked on a farm. Joe grew up on one. His family weren't that rich and they couldn't afford extra help so as soon as they could, Joe and his brother Oliver helped with the work. Part of this meant learning to ride and so that was what Joe did. He was slung up on the back of his father's Quarter Horse when he was old enough and from then on was rarely out of the saddle. He loved it. Aside from learning how to do the farm work, Joe also took great pleasure in jumping the logs and other natural obstacles around the farm. His parents saw that he had a natural talent and bought him his own horse. She was a beautiful dapple grey mare named Dancer. Dancer helped Joe onto the competing ladder and soon he was competing with her at shows all around the area. When Joe was 20 though, his parents were killed in a car crash. Oliver wanted to take over the farm so Joe decided that it was time to leave. Dancer had by that point been put down due to a back problem. Now Joe is living in Guineaville, with a new horse and a new life.
