 The North, and the South. Two completely different regions and two completely different beliefs. Slavery was the big, touchy issue. The North accepted the fact that there were slaves, but they treated them fairly and with much respect. As for the South? Ah, the South was like a living hell. Most slaves only prayed they didn't get accepted into slavery by a Southern Master. That would be about your worst nightmare. Will anyone finally take a stand against the South? Their only concern was that slavery was kept, and they were only a piece of property. So, exactly which side will you revolt on? Or will you be in the north, or the south. You could make a great escape. But, that would take time and many lives with it. Still, is it worth it?
